Chapel Lane, In the Village of Galgate, Lancaster OS Map Ref: SD487 558
The Church existed in 1154 but was rebuilt in 1906, so has a quite modern look now
The burial ground is to be found a 1/4 of a mile from the Church towards Lancaster.

Rev, Allan J. GWILLIM was the Vicar at the time and was very helpful with local knowledge.
The project was never completed and checked for publication, the grave yard in 1997 was quite
overgrown and had many trees and long grass hiding memorials,
some memorial stones were already too deep in the gourd to be able to read the inscriptions.

The data here is to help researches to locate family ancestors that lived and died in this area.
